A regional film making a profit of Rs 20 crore even before the theatrical release is something very rare to happen. 'Atharintiki Daredi' has achieved this rare feat to create history!
According to trade pundits, 'Atharintiki Daredi' fetched a table profit of about Rs 20 crores to the producer. Factors like Pawan Kalyan's craze, Pawan-Trivikram-DSP combo, Samantha's golden-leg sentiment, entertainment quotient and universal appeal of the movie played a key role here.
These days, A big film has to recover at least 70 % of the investment in the first week itself because of the wide release else everyone associated with the film will be incurring hefty losses. To be in a safe zone, 'Atharintiki Daredi' has to make a Worlwide share of Rs 45 crores by the end of first week run at the Box Office. The only hurdle for the movie is the ongoing agitations in Seemandhra against the Telangana state. If the issue settles down by August 9th, nothing could stop Pawan's Box Office tsunami.
